What size shoe do you wear?
Sounds like an easy question, right? But if someone asked me, my answer wouldn't be an enthusiastic "6 1/2." It would be more like, "6 1/2, sometimes 6, a 7 in running shoes, probably boots, too, so I have room for heavier socks..." I'm sure most people would give a similar response.

Traipse through the airport, check your bags, and arrive at the security screening. Remove your salt stained shoes and place them in the tray. Pad in stocking feet through the x-ray machine. Bend over, tie your shoelaces and get on the plane. You are on vacation!

Maybe a career in foot modeling is out. I wasn’t blessed with elegant, high arches, and symmetrical toes. I have a drawer full of thick wool socks that do a good job of hiding my imperfections. You know what I mean.
